Description
The Anaheim Pump
Station is located at the southwest corner of Wainwright Avenue and
I Street in the community of Wilmington, California. The
pump station improves drainage in the area east of Dominguez Channel
and north of Anaheim Street. The project is jointly funded
by ACTA, Los Angeles County and the Port of Los Angeles. It
is owned and operated by the Los Angeles County Flood Control
District.
Storm
water from the pump station is discharged into the Dominguez Channel
through an outfall structure located at the west-end of I
street. Collection system improvements were previously
completed by ACTA in a separate project.
The station was made partially operational
in October 2004 and fully operational in May 2005.
